Intercountry adoption

Since its foundation in 1989, Meiling has mediated the adoption by Dutch residents of more than 2,500 children from China, Taiwan, Surinam and India (until 1996).

We have mediated the adoption of dozens of children with special needs of varying degrees, such as premature birth, operable conditions (cleft lip/palate, clubfoot, heart defect) and inoperable conditions (missing or malformed limbs, asthma, bowel disease). And, in almost every case, thanks to the health care facilities in the Netherlands, these children were able to start new and happy lives with their new families.
